We've been cleaning out the fridge, eating all the leftovers in anticipation for our holiday vacation, to Las Vegas!! I am especially giddy this year for Christmas-- probably because of our girls FUN ages, the SPIRIT of New York City during the holidays and we even get to spend Christmas with our families...I have everything I want for Christmas right there!
Elf On The Shelf...Thanks for this CUTE gift, Grandma Sue! The girls are having a ball playing this game, reading the book and practicing being NICE, not NAUGHTY. They named the Elf "Sabrina". It is so cute to watch the girls wake up (individually) in the morning and search for the little fella. Paisley has the cutest giggle when he's around! They found him here this morning...he looks so cute on the ledges of the shelves! I just want to kiss him!
Sweet friends
Me- "...That's what's special about being friends, you like the same things..."(getting them both a bowl of Fruity Pebbles)
Ella- "Because we love each other, right Benjamin?"
Benjamin- "Yea!...I guess."
Our First Christmas Treats! Norma made these divine bunuelos...oh my gosh, they are YUM-MEE and so pretty! I almost cried when I looked at them. Taco Bell's Cinnamon Twists will NEVER be the same...mmm...burritos and a Coke sounds delish right now.

What is the whole elf thing. You hide him everyday and they see if they can find him? Anyways only a week away. See ya soon!
Oh how wonderful!! You will be home for Christmas! As for my cookie exchange, I started one in my ward this year, so I hosted it...it was fun (lots of work) but lots of fun! Isn't your mom hosting one tomorrow? I hope it will go smoothly!! Maybe we can get together for a bit while you are here!! :)
What a cute little elf. I love this age, they really start understanding the magic of the holidays!!!!! Cannot wait to see you 8 more days :)
I bet Christmas time in New York is awesome. Cold though. We should try and get together while you are here if you have enough time. And you are right a burrito and a coke do sound really good. Mmm, taco bell here I come!
Hey, this is JoAnna...I'm an old friend of Scott's. I found your blog on a friends blog (hope that is okay!) What a cute family you guys have. It is good to see pictures of Scott's family as they are good family friends with my family. Anyway, I saw that you got some "bunuelos"....one of my absolute FAVORITES! Do you happen to have a receipe for them!?
