It was just bound to happen.
Once upon a time, there was a girl who wanted to hug her younger sister while waiting for the subway.
As she went to hug her, the little girl's scooter rolled on the uneven ground and rolled right down into the subway tracks.
Thankfully, the little girl's Daddy had joined the family that morning for the younger sister's pre-school, for the first time. He threw down his belongings jumped down with the stagnant water, grease, dirt and rats, got the scooter and jumped back out, long before the train arrived.
Always bring your daddy when your scooter is going to roll into the subway tracks....or always make sure any items fall in the tracks long before the train arrives....you're takin' chances either way...maybe one just shouldn't bring their daughter's scooters in the subway to begin with. At least it wasn't a stroller.
~The End~
Just to add for your comfort: The ending of the story would have not ended so heroically had Scott not been there. He risked his life and saved my own! Thankfully, no children were harmed. They were far behind the yellow line and know not to ride their scooter down there.
We would not be very liked if we had caused a BIG, DELAYED, BROKEN MESS. I know how I feel when people hold up the trains.
PS. Every time that I have ever typed scooter, I type SCOTTER first and then have to correct it! Love you Skippy, Scotty, Scooter Saver.
