Apple Picking.

If in fact we are still living in NYC at this time next year...
it will be because we couldn't stand to give up apple picking at beautiful places like this (and maybe, just maybe because Scott will have gotten a job here too!)

The Grahams and The Parmenters

Here are the donkeys. The ones that were so soft and fun to pet. We read the "nibbling" warning label, put in our quarters and got a small amount of food. Paisley said, "That's okay. I like to be nibbled." And then she put her hand out for the donkey to eat her food and CHOMP! He took her WHOLE HAND with it. It was heartbreaking. I think that Scott pulled her hand out, teeth marks and all and then the tears began!
She was wailing! And then we think the donkeys felt bad, because then they started wailing! I actually googled donkeys and emotions and apparently they have very deep feelings and emotions!

Ella knew how to properly twist and pull the apples, from a book that her teacher read to her class.
She informed us.

The Boys.

Paisley took her witch role very seriously. She's a little villain lover. She runs with crowds like Ursela and Cruella.

Ella and I thought it was bizarre that they placed the sweet, soft bunnies next to the Scary Haunted House!

apple cider. apple turnovers. yum. Peso eating her donut.

Kaye found the biggest apple!

Pais was searching for the tiniest pumpkins...she found them.
It's all about team work, until they started tripping over the other pumpkins. Then they just took turns by relieving on another.

pigs. sheep. goats. little horses. bunnies. none of those nibbled. lots of fun.

You can do it, put your back into it! Cutie-Anne.

We finished the day in Yorktown at a great pizzeria and a stop at Costco in Yonkers on the way home!
I don't know why this is turned wrong, but this is Ella's "reflection" art the day after apple picking. I love her yellow wagon!

I love all the fun things there are to do there. I hope Paisley isn't scarred for life. I can just imagine the look on her face when she realized what had happened.
