We had an especially special weekend that started with meeting our good friends Madeline and Rebecca at the Nelson's apartment on Friday for some pizza, playing and even live music! Thanks for the fun Nelsons. It was a fun evening for me at least, because I got to sit and talk with friends for awhile, while the kids played. I do have to say Ella and Madeline remind me of their mothers. It is darling to see two girlsfriends interact at such a young age. They are cute and they are, as Madeline would say, "dramatic." :)
Norma and Ben had invited us to attend one of the New York City Ballet's "Ballet for Young People" performance on Saturday. I was so thankful and excited for the opportunity....the children are shown below doing their version of a "Pas de deux" or "trois" shall I say? The Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center was gorgeous and the program was an hour long and basically informed us of how one gets into the American School of Ballet and all steps required thereafter to become a soloist or principal dancer...which I knew none of, so it was very informative.
We finished our outing at the closest lunch spot we could find which was PJ Clarkes across the street. It was my first time there and it was pretty yummy!

And then Madeline stopped by for one last princess parade until the next time we meet...
