There's a new 7-11 in town. And it's 5 blocks away from my home. With 8 different flavors of Slurpees to choose from, I may be visiting quite often. Too many slurpee childhood memories to blog about. Like how my Great Aunt Bea was the only one who would let me get a Coke Slurpee growing up, and how she went back ( 3 times in one day) to get me another b/c I kept spilling.
And...
I've worn open toed shoes the past two weeks to church! Oh Happy Day! Spring is in the air, everyone is happy as they walk down the street with their swirled ice cream cones, Slurpees and Coco Helado. And it's only in the 50's, but the sun is definitely shining. Spring in New York is gorgeous! Just like every other season...alright, maybe not the summer smells though.

I love this time of year! Today it was 70, it was beautiful.
I have many memories of us walking to 7 11. One in particular when you pretended you were pregnant so no one would mess with us and your brother saw us. Man I miss you sometimes!
LOL. Oh man. It was really late when we did that right? Like 11 or midnight? How old were we?! :) yikes. Well it worked, we miraculously survived growing up in the ghetto. xoxo
I miss you too Tara!! I would love to do what we did back then...like play card games for candy bars... while our kids play...someday, someday.
