When both of our babies went to school all day.
I'm still having mixed feelings. For example, Scott and I find ourselves laying in our quiet, tidy apartment, giddy and giggling. And then, I'll be driving to Target on alternate side parking day, hear a song like, "Beautiful Girls", or "California Gurls", or "I Wanna Be a Billionaire" and just start bawling because my girls aren't there singing with me. I miss them tremendously at certain points during the day. Anyways, enough about me. By the way, have any of you heard the "East coast Gurls" parody of "California Gurls"?
Our Kindergartner.
Pais is doing fantastic. Her teacher is very well liked by everyone and is known to be wonderful. So happy about this. She and Ella's class are on the 2nd floor of their 5 floor walk up school.
Our First Grader.
This little girl was ready to go back to school, whether she knew it, or not.
It's going to be a good year for her!
It's going to be a good year for her!
She is kind of loved by her peers in the first grade, whether she knows it or not.
That's what we love about Ella. For the most part, she just dances through life.
She knows a good pup when she sees one.
If you need to get a hold of us, we'll be in the park, M-F until the snow starts to fall...on a big slab of rock, where Scott will be studying for his exam and I will be painting my toe nails...and maybe even picking up something very foreign to me...a book! So strange yet wonderful, this new chapter in our lives!
