Multitasking is one of my favorite things about riding public transportation.

Reading. (though most of the time it's just the ads on the train) Talking with my girls. Going over math problems with them. Staring at people. Getting out snacks without feeling like I'm not completely focused on the road. Having conversations with passengers. Even putting on make-up, I have done on the train...though I do get quite a few stares.

One thing I can not do on the train however, is dump out my purse while searching for something, which is something that I need to do often. Very often.



I love those chocolate colored seats.

One of my favorite things to do is drop off the girls in the morning at school, then go sit in our car that is parked nicely on our street, just to put on my make-up. It's like a special treat vacation! Or go downstairs to have a phone conversation in the car. It makes me so happy, like it's an extra 4 x 6 space, all of my own! A storage unit, a spa, a transporter, a safe, relaxing place. :)
