...where I ask everyone if I've ever told them how weird I am about my birthdays...Many of you have seen first hand.
I'm just going to talk about how much I LOVED my birthday this year!
The day before, Scotty took me on a date to a taco shop La Esquina. I've been wanting to try for years!! It hit the spot. And they played west coast rap music so I was all comfortable. :)
I walked into the girls bedroom to get them ready for school the next morning and Ella's on her HP touchscreen and says, "Mom! My touchscreen calendar just reminded me that it's your birthday!" LOL! Scotty's got all our calendars in sync. Cuteness!
I spent the day at home, took a nap. Picked the girls up and we went and got pedicures!
On the way home, we ran into a neighbor on the corner, from our previous building. He bought me flowers when he found out it was my birthday! I love Antonio! Aren't they beautiful?
Then, I got home and had another package waiting. Scotty sent me orchids from work! So dainty and pretty and he's a smarty cause I always tell him not to buy me flowers unless it's a plant that will last!I'm just going to talk about how much I LOVED my birthday this year!

The girls made me sweet cards....
...LOVE THEM!
And have I ever told you how lucky I am to have the greatest handful of friends wherever I go? Well, I do. I've been SO blessed in my life to have such real, loving, caring, trusting friends! They planned a 30th Birthday Dinner for me and it was perfect. I left the girls with a paid babysitter for the second time since we've lived in NYC! Here is what the invite said... :)In 1981:
President Reagan was shot in the chest by John Hinckley;
Sandra Day O'Connor was the first female Justice to take the bench on the United States Supreme Court;
Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married (as did Luke and Laura on General Hospital);
MADONNA signed with Sire Records;
MTV was launched;
Simon & Garfunkel reuinited for a free concert in Central Park;
Raiders of the Lost Ark and 9 to 5 WERE smash hits in theaters;
the term "Internet" was first used;
AND some of you may have graduated high school:)
IN ADDITION, JULIANNE PARMENTER WAS BORN!!!
