This past August, while my parents had the girls in Vegas, Scott and I finally strolled down to Central Park early in the morning, to get in line for Shapkespeare In the Park Tickets. This time it was Sondheim in the park, with the play, Into the Woods. I admit, I knew nothing about the play going into it, but a musician did walk up and down the line playing music from the score on his saxophone. We watched Friday Night Lights episodes, Scott long boarded around the area and we waited...We waited in a line that had to have been a mile long, for free tickets. We barely got them! And they weren't even seated by eachother.(Scott was 3 rows above me) But we didn't care! We were about to see Amy Adams and Donna Murphy, for free! We brought Vivi with us and had another one of my favorite nights in NY. Fell in love with the play and of course bawled through "Children Will Listen", walked with fellow NY'ers at 11pm through the park, came home to download the music. Woke up at 5am the next morn to catch a flight to Vegas with my baby girl. No regrets, ever. Always worth it.
