The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center.

I love surprises.  But only when I'm not the one being surprised.  :)  I friend posted on Facebook that she had two tickets she was trying to sell for the Nutcracker that night, at a discounted price.  So I JUMPED on it!  Paisley happened to have ballet that evening on the same street, so I snuck in a fancy dress and after I picked her up, I told her to change into it for a special Mommy/ Daughter night.  I told her we were going to see the Nutcracker and she squealed out loud!  We ate at her ballet cafeteria and walked over to Lincoln Center.  It was perfect.  Perfect length, great seats, beautiful ballerinas!  It was a treat for Paisley to watch and a treat for me to watch her enjoy it!  It also gave her motivation to stick with ballet even though it makes her days busy and tiring sometimes.  After the ballet, we ran into friends Leslie and her daughter.  It was Leslie's birthday and she is a photographer!  And she was SO nice to take a few pictures of Paisley and I...on her 30th birthday outing with her daughter!  She is just too sweet.  I will treasure these forever.  Thank you Leslie!
