Our few friends got together for a lovely Easter gathering at the Great Hill in Central Park. There was a picnic, dessert, clever egg hunts. I also got a great Easter Basket idea from a friend, which the Easter Bunny followed through with on short notice.
So, the Easter Bunny tied string to each girl's bed, which lead them each to their own baskets. It was a very crazy maze activity that we hope will be a new tradition.
Paisley's was under my bed.
Vivi's was in the bathtub.
Ella's was outside the fornt door. :)
Then, my older girls and I head to the Easter Bonnet Parade and an exhibit at Grand Central Station. A post on that to come.
Easter evening was spent with our friends, the Abernathy's. We had a traditional Easter dinner and then due to rain we weren't able to have our homemade cascarones fight outside in the park...but we improvised and made a humongous mess in our playroom. :/ Fun times!
