Nick Cave- Heard NYC and In My Easter Bonnet

So let me not forget that we decided to participate in the official Easter Bonnet Parade on 5th Ave.  After the girls found their baskets, we made out bonnets...at about 8am, to leave pretty soon after.  We scrounged up some cute ideas and this is what we came up with...they were the cutest, fastest bonnets ever and you have to admit, they sort of look like they belong on the Statue of Liberty. ;)  I helped them cut the paper plates, but everything else, was all them!  The painting, the making of the flowers.  Perfect craft.

We first met the Jennejohn crew at Grand Central where we caught the last performance of the Nick Cave Exhibit.  Very cool.

 Just some Easter Sunday Pics...

And then the parade began, as we got closer and closer to 5th Ave.

If you ever want to be famous for a day, join this parade.  It's like a fashion show, so fabulous.  I'm determined we're going all out next year!  Stay tuned!

All I can think of when I look back at these pictures is Judy Garland's "In my Easter Bonnet" song that my mom would sing to us as children! <3 br="">

We then walked over to the 1 train, took it two stops and joined the rest of our families at church.

Always worth it! <3>
