Apartment #2
So here are a few pictures I took before we moved in to our new apartment. This is how the layout goes...it is considered a railroad track apartment b/c each room runs into eachother in one long line. So if you are facing our street you would be looking into the girls bedroom which then leads into the den, which leads into the living room, (where the front door is) which leads into a hallway where the bathroom and then kitchen are. I really like this layout.
An intersting fact about our apartment...the only kitchen counter, which is about 1 ft. wide, is spray painted SILVER of all colors! It is SO special. We are surviving though. Most preparing is done over the sink or stove-top. Ahhh...gotta love the life out here!
Walking Ella to school is so unbelievably wonderful that I don't even have to bring a wallet with me. I can go in my PJ's...oh believe me, I'm sure I will at some point. Best of all, Paisley has had a nap almost every afternoon since we have moved here. Hooray.
Now, on to more figuring out where to put all of our things! We're almost there...3 weeks later. :)

I love the subways, but do not know how you managed with your Sweeties. Am glad you are near Broadway as am sure they will be appearing anytime now.
Juli's first Apt. was at 1562 3rd Ave--loved it and the location. Walked to the museums and wonderful restaurants. I love NY and am glad you are taking advantage of all it has to offer.
She also lived in a Brownstone in Brooklyn Height's--loved it even more.
Be safe and happy, you are all so special!
A silver kitchen, what more could a girl ask for? It looks like a cute little place, Im glad you like it!!
Aunt Joanie- it's so sad I didn't even know Juli lived in New York. What was she here for, how long did she stay? Thanks for the sweet comment!
Love, Julianne

She worked for HSI Productions after graduating with a Communication's Degree; was also a nanny for Marsha Norman while going to Long Island University, Southampton. We came there all the time and wish she still lived in NY. I love that city.
However, you are making the most of your time and do not seem to be missing anything. I love your family's adventureous spirit!
Holy Cow!...never mind...the silly wrenches went away all by themselves. The blogger fairy was listening! Happy day to you...
lisa
