The Pre-Celebration begins...

Well, in preparation for Ella's "birth week" (any excuse to celebrate life is what I say), we decided to start with a BANG and finally go ice skating for the first time this winter! It was an all girl's outing and it was enjoyable from beginning to end. (We missed you though, Scotty!)

Paisley's dream came true and she got to do her "figure eight" just like Ruby- from Max and Ruby. However she didn't last as long as Mariella, who ice skated for 3 hours, alone with the hundreds of people skating around and around in the rink. I love having an almost school aged child. I just watched... and waved... and drank hot chocolate...and took pictures and video, while Paisley napped.

Ella then met a sweet friend, like she does most everywhere she goes and they skated together, helped each other when they fell and held hands. Seriously, too sweet.

Mariella is unbelievable. Personally, this child can affect me from one extreme to another, like no other can! I will tell more about that, as we proceed into Mariella's 5th "birth week."
