Wintuk

(picture of some of the cast that I found on Internet)

As one of the Parent Representative in Ella's Kindergarten class, I was assigned as the field trip coordinator, a tough, but very fun job (I prefer that job over any of the other class rep responsibilities, gladly.) One of the first trips I planned in October, was Cirque Du Soleil's Wintuk, which we went to today. It was Ella's first yellow, school bus ride, which she flipped over about with JOY! It was so fun to see her giggling and laughing uncontrollably about her excitement. It was also both our first time at Madison Square Garden, in the WAMU Theatre. The trip was a success! Ticket numbers were perfect, I broke even and the children LOVED it. Especially the snow fall at the end of the show. They were probably the youngest group of children there. Cirque does cater to an older crowd, but the children behaved fantastically and enjoyed the show, without the popcorn or cotton candy! Good kids. On the way home, Ella and a group of friends went from singing..."Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" to "Jingle Bells" to "I had a Little Driedel" to "Feliz Navidad" to "You Belong With Me"...

(Drivin' by the Hard Rock)

This is the second Mariella Pizza that I have come across while walking or on the bus...we're gonna have to take our Mariella there sometime! I love this bottom picture with the bike and the cab.

Paisley had an equally exciting afternoon with Aunt Kaydee! She was so excited to give Kaye a candy cane this morning! And apparently they ate them together.
Thanks so much!

So I'm a little relieved, right now b/c the shooting that happened down at Times Square this morning, happened about 20 minutes after we had driven past the exact location...thank heavens we didn't have to witness that!! Take a look at the picture I took 20 minutes before the shooting and the one that I found on the Internet...

Mine, through the bus window...

Their's...with the same Princess and the Frog Billboard.
