Cottage Fun In Springville Utah.

My parents and our family headed up to Utah the day after Christmas to Scott's parent's house, which we like to call The Cottage, because it is warm and cozy with the best Dulce de Leche Hot Chocolate always available! It brings back early memories of Scott and I to have both of our parent's together. They were neighbors for 8 years and we miss all living so close together. I have the funnest memory of only being married for 2 days and staying at the Parmenter's, because our town house was still being built and wouldn't be ready until the following day, and Janice bringing Scott and I sourdough french toast in bed! It was so sweet. It was our 7th anniversary weekend while we were there, so it was fun to feel like we were at a bed and breakfast again!

We put the boys to work while we sled. I'm not the world's best sled driver, but it was fun to have my dad right there behind me to push me out of the driveway or wherever else I ended up!

Look at those 'cicles! Paisley just had to have her "Pops" lift her to get a Pop!

Sun or snow, both of our children like to become one with the earth. Dirt eating included. ;)
Angel of Snow

We in our family just love road trips! Both of our girls have been travelin' since they were newborns, so it's always nice to hop in the car and drive from Vegas to Utah...and beyond as you will soon discover...
