Snow Day!

School was canceled Thursday, February 11th because of a nasty snow storm.
Just imagine the largest school district in the US, out sledding and that's what the 5 boroughs looked like that day. Kids everywhere, flurries everywhere. We finally made it home and soon there was Hot Chocolate and Cinnamon Toast...everywhere.

Mary, (Our neighbor, Sam's Grandma who is one of the sweetest women I have ever known), Sam, Mariella, Paisley, Elise and Julianne

On Our Way to Hippo.

Pure JOY!

Hippo Hill- Scott saw an ambulance on site driving home an hour after we left. It was getting pretty scary with the teens and such so we decided to head out. Plus, my toes were frozen. Paisley had on no socks. How is it that she walked to and from in a foot of snow, snow blaring her in the face, plus going up and down the hill sledding and not complain until we were 10 seconds away form our building?? I can't get her to move and inch during any other weather, but snow, I guess she really isn't a snowbird.

I love the picture of all the people out in the snow. It seriously looks so beautiful. I wish Vegas had seasons like that.

Emily, trust me. Don't be jealous. :) It is survival to find things to do. I think it's time for a "Parmenter Family Uncut" blog post. It would be scary!

We just love your Sadie! It is cute to watch Scott smile as he reads about you guys! I think your blog is one of the only that he visits!
