Ella awoke on her 6th birthday to a new yoga mat from Jen, Caden and Jensyn. A doorman from across the street had received it on accident and rang our door at like 11pm the night before, for us to get it! I was a little nervous... Scott went down with his knife.
You are unable to see, but Paisley and I decorated our living room with tulle, making it like a "big top" and I hung up her half way finished circus themed birthday banner...that you will see at her friend party post! Anyways, she walked in, saw the tulle and then banner and sang "that circus song" you know it... and acted like she was juggling. She got the theme and liked it!
Mariella and Mr. D. on her birthday.
He's wearing red vans that you can't see. ;)
Ella's newest in Kindergarten, "I can't put my marshmallow in my mouth. When I do, I can't breath. Poor girl can never breath out of her nose! That will make no sense to some of you.
And for the BIG news... Paka and Mimi hopped into town for a couple of days!
We were all SO excited!
The evening included...
Pizza. Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting (her favorite right now.) Gifts. Roses from Daddy ;) Chatting. A visit from our neighbor Antonio, who brought both of the girls a gift, without even knowing it was Ella's birthday!
I wish I could be a wallflower and listen to Mimi and Paisley's conversations all day. As we climbed back up our stairs after we said goodbye over and over again, Paisley said, "I love Mimi's voice. It's so pretty." We had a great outing with Mimi, to try on dresses and get a bite to eat down in the garment district. Did you know I get to be a bridesmaid...or is it Maid of Honor? I guess I could be both, right Karisa?!
Seriously fun! There will be much more on that!
l.o.v.e. this picture.
A collage of her rearranging the bouquet that Scott gave her for her birthday (we're trying to set up a summer internship with the florist down stairs, she's loves arranging flowers.) opening her video/ digital camera, Tinkerbell Teaset (so cute) and Princess and the Frog Polly Pockets. And Elise's way cute hair. And Ella pondering about what it means to be 6...Besides the fact that I gave birth to this 8 lb. 12 oz bundle of joy...This is a sure sign that SHE is MY daughter.
Thanks for thinking about Mariella on her birthday, loved ones! Grandma Barbara, Papa Don, Grandma Sue and Papa Kent, Karisa! And everyone else I mentioned! Mariella loves you so much.

There is one beautiful theme in the pictures and blogs--LOVE!
The roses are a tradition I would like to keep...I helped Scotty start it this year. ;) She loved them.
Thanks Aunt Joanie. Your comments are always so perfect and make my days happy!
xoxo to both of you!
